3 lbs. pork butt, cubed

vegetable oil as needed

1/3 c. water

1/3 c. white vinegar

2 cloves garlic, smashed

3 TB Aloha shoyu

2 TB patis (fish sauce)

10 whole black peppercorns

6 bay leaves

1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes

Cooking Process:

In a large pot over medium high heat, sauté pork, until browned. Reduce heat, add remaining ingredients, simmer until pork is tender, about 45-60 minutes.
