Makua Rothmans Kalo Banana Recipe
This week’s episode of Cooking Hawaiian Style features famous professional surfer and musician Makua Rothman. He shares delicious recipe of Kalo banana dessert made with coconut milk.
2 cups cooked kalo (taro) diced into 1/2" cubes
5 bananas cut lengthwise, then in half
1 can full cream coconut milk
maple syrup to taste
Add coconut milk and bananas to pan over medium high heat. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Add kalo and sweeten with maple syrup.
