I don't know where the term "jun" came from, but I suspect its from the Korean word jeon (jun) for pancake. Meat jun which seems to be a Hawaii-Korean dish is made of thin strips of marinated beef dipped in egg, flour, then pan fried. Great for potlucks and picnics as it tastes great hot or cold.
