Landon’s Ko Choo Jang Pork Belly

2 lbs. pork belly, 1-inch pieces

Water as needed

3 tsp. vegetable oil

1 large carrot, peeled, ¼-inch rounds

2 medium bell peppers, ½-inch dice

4 TB favorite ko choo jang sauce

1 TB Aloha shoyu

3 TB sugar

1 TB sesame oil


Cooking Process:

In a saucepot over medium high heat; cover pork with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 45-50 minutes. Remove pork; reserving broth for future use. In a skillet over medium heat; brown porkin oil. Add carrot and bell pepper; cook 3-4 minutes until tender. Stir in ko choo jang sauce, soy sauce and sugar. Cook 2 minutes. For service: Drizzle with sesame seed oil. Serves 4-6.
