Crispy Garlic Chicken
3 Pound chicken thighs, boneless, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
1 1/2 Cup flour
1/2 Cup cornstarch
salt and pepper to taste
2 Cup Aloha Aloha shoyu (Aloha is less salty)
2 Cup sugar
1 Cup chopped garlic
1/2 Cup chopped green onion
2 Tablespoon sesame oil
1 Teaspoon chili flakes
1.Combine sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil, simmer until the sugar dissolves and the sauce thickens. Set aside.
2.Take some of the cooled sauce and marinate the chicken.
3.Combine flour and cornstarch. Season the flour mix with salt and pepper. Dredge chicken in flour mix & deep fry.
4.Toss in sauce and serve.
