Homemade Mirin

I make this in big batches to keep on hand in my refrigerator. Often times when I know I will be using mirin regularly, I will flavor smaller batches with ginger or garlic.

2 c. sake

1 c. sugar

 

 


Cooking Process:

In a saucepan over medium heat; combine sake and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves. Cool completely before refrigerating. Makes 2 cups.
