Although the title of recipe may not sound appetizing, this jello dessert is very refreshing and has a flavor of the islands.
2 boxes (6oz.) of JELLO
8 pkgs. of KNOX gelatin
1 cup warm water (real hot tap water)
8 cups boiling water (REALLY HOT/not necessarily boiling)
1 1/2 cups white sugar
6 tbsp. lemon juice
1 can (12oz) of concentrate frozen juice
** Good jello/juice combinations: Strawberry jello/guava juice OR Peach jello/lilikoi juice **
- Sprinkle KNOX gelatin on 1 cup of warm water and let dissolve.
- Dissolve JELLO and white sugar with 8 cups boiling water.
- Add KNOX mixture.
- Keep stirring on heat to keep gelatin from clumping up.
- After mixtures have all dissolved, take off heat and add lemon juice and concentrate juice.
- Pour into 9x13 pan.
- Chill to harden
- Cut and serve.
