Ahi Tempura Roll
1 lb sushi grade tuna
sheets of nori
4-6 asparagus spears blanched
tempura batter (click for recipe)
Oil for deep frying
In a pan, heat oil to 350 degrees. Take a sheet of nori, cut tuna thin (1/4") and cover 3/4 of nori sheet. Place a piece of asparagus and fish eggs across the middle, then roll
like you would for sushi. Dip in tempura batter and flash fry for 2-3 minutes on all sides.
Slice and serve with shoyu and wasabi.
