Anna’s Chinese Barbecued Chicken
A co-worker shared her favorite pot luck dish recipe with me. She loved the simplicity of putting everything in one pan and letting the oven do the work. I have tried this recipe in a slow cooker as well.
12 pcs. chicken thighs, skinless
1/2 c. Aloha shoyu
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 TB sugar
2 TB sherry
1 tsp. Chinese five spice
In a mixing bowl, combine chicken with remaining ingredients. Marinate at least 3 hours or overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place chicken in a roasting pan; pour marinade over chicken. Cover with aluminum foil; make 4 slits to allow steam to escape. Bake 30 minutes, turn pieces; continue baking 30 minutes. Serves 6.
