Warren’s Margarita Marinade
A bunch of former co-workers got together for a “Mexican” themed pot luck. One of my pals brought steaks soaking in this wonderful marinade which he simply made up. All the components of a margarita in this recipe.
½ c. white tequila
½ c. olive oil
½ c. sweet & sour mix
1 small onion, chopped
2 Hawaiian chili peppers, crushed
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp. margarita salt
½ tsp. freshly cracked black pepper
juice of 2 limes
In a blender, combine all ingredients until smooth. Marinate pork, beef or chicken 1 hour. Oven broil or grill as desired. Good for 3-4 pounds of meat.
