1 lb. ground beef

2 TB sesame seeds, toasted, crushed

2 TB green onion, chopped

¼ c. panko (Japanese bread crumbs)

1 clove garlic, grated

½-inch ginger, peeled, grated

2 TB ko choo jang sauce

1 TB Aloha shoyu

Pinch white pepper

1/3-1/2 c. flour, as needed

2 large eggs, beaten

Vegetable oil, as needed

Cooking Process:

In a mixing bowl; combine beef with sesame seeds, green onion, panko, garlic, ginger, ko choo jang sauce, soy sauce and pepper. Shape into desired size patties. Into 2 separate shallow dishes; place flour and eggs. Dredge patties in flour, then in egg. Repeat in flour and egg once more. In a skillet over medium heat; brown patties in oil until cooked through. Serve with favorite kim chee and lots of steamed rice. Serves. 3-4.
