Fried Tofu Poke Salad
A delicious Fried Tofu Poke Salad for anytime!!
- Oil, for deep frying
- 1 package firm tofu, cut into cubes
- Cornflour, for dredging
- Tomatoes, sliced
- 2 oz tomato, diced
- Cucumber, sliced
- Carrots, shredded
- 1 Cup Aloha shoyu soy sauce
- 8 tbsps sesame oil
- Sugar (use according to your taste, start with 1/2 cup and work your way up)
Preheat oil in pot or deep-fryer to 375°F
Dredge cubed tofu in cornflour and deep fry in preheated oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels until ready to use. Toss fried tofu and vegetables in a mixing bowl with the poke sauce.
Combine ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk until sugar has dissolved.
