I love this cheesy recipe using 3 types of beans. The leftovers are enjoyed heated or served cold!

1 (10 oz.) Portuguese sausage, skinned, chopped

1 medium onion, chopped

2 (16 oz.) can baked beans

1 (15 oz.) can chili beans

1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans

1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

¼ c. brown sugar, packed

¼ c. honey

2 TB yellow mustard

1 TB Worcestershire sauce

1 ½ tsp. ground cumin

¼ tsp. garlic salt

¼ tsp. freshly ground black pepper

2 dash Tabasco

1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded

Cooking Process:

In a skillet over medium heat; brown sausage and onions until tender. Drain excess oil. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a 3 quart baking dish; combine sausage mixture with remaining ingredients. Bake 1 hour. Top with cheese; continue baking 10 minutes. Variation: Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. Cook on Low setting 5 hours. Serves 14-16.
