Fried Tofu Salad

It doesn’t get any easier than this Fried Tofu Salad. I sued to fry my own tofu, but why, since fried tofu is readily available in all our supermarkets. Simple and easy, the dressing is a “must have” in your refrigerator.

Ingredients: Print   Add to cart
US Metric

1 lb. mixed mesclun greens, rinsed, drained well
1 (6 oz.) block fried tofu, drained, cut in half, as desired
½ small red onion, thinly sliced
1 small tomato, seeded, diced
Dressing:
2 TB ginger, peeled, finely minced
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
½ c. vegetable oil
¼ c.+ 2 TB rice wine vinegar
3 TB agave nectar
2 TB sesame seed oil
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper


Cooking Process:

In a mixing bowl or jar; combine dressing ingredients well. Makes approximately 1 cup. In a mixing bowl; toss together greens, onion and tomato. Place onto serving platter; top with tofu.

how to serve:
Serve with dressing on the side. Serves 4-6.
