Seafood Wun Tun
A popular appetizer; sometimes called Rangoon. This Seafood Wun Tun recipe freezes well, so make batches to keep on hand. These get gobbled up without needing a dipping sauce.
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
¼ c. mayonnaise
8 oz. imitation crabmeat, shredded
½ c. shrimp, cooked, coarsely chopped
4 stalks green onion, chopped
1 (30 pc.) pkg. won ton wrappers
Water as needed
Vegetable oil, for frying
In a large skillet or fryer; warm oil. In a mixing bowl; combine all ingredients. Place a tablespoonful of filling into center of won ton wrappers. Seal edges as desired with water. Deep fry until browned. Drain on paper towels. Makes approximately 30 pieces.
