Macadamia Nut Brownies
This Macadamia Nut Brownies is an island twist on a favorite dessert !
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate 6 TB butter 2 tsp. instant espresso powder 2 large eggs 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla extract ½ c. flour ¾ c. macadamia nuts, chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour an 8-inch square baking pan. Melt butter and chocolate with espresso powder in a double boiler. Stir until smooth. Cool slightly. Whisk eggs until foamy. Whisk in sugar and vanilla. Stir in melted chocolate. Add flour, just until blended. Fold in nuts. Spread batter into prepared pan. Bake 25 minutes; until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Serves 8-10.
