  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 5 lbs. chopped pork
  • 5 c. sweet peas
  • 1/2 tsp. peppercorn
  • 1 Tbs. Aloha shoyu
  • 3 c. water
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 c. tomato paste
  • 1 13oz. can sweet pimentos
  • 1/2 tsp. bay leaves
  • 3 Tbs. patis
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • Dash or 2 Ajinomoto (optional)

Cooking Process:

Slice pork in 2"x1" pieces. Heat oil in skillet, add garlic then pork to brown. Add shoyu, patis, water, sugar, peppercorn and bay leaves. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in tomato paste, sweet peas, pimentos and ajinomoto. Simmer for 5 minutes.
