Teriyaki Beef Rollups
Fresh vegetables blanketed with tender slices of beef marinated in sweet savory teriyaki sauce... this dish works well as an appetizer or main dish. Use your favorite vegetables.
- 3/4 cups chopped onions
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 piece minced ginger
- 1 Tbs brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups Aloha shoyu
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 papaya mashed
- 2 Tbs Sherry
- 1 lb Flank steak (thin sheets)
- julienned carrots, green beans, green onions and red pepper strips
Marinate flank steak in onions, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, shoyu, water, papaya and sherry for 2 hours or overnight. The enzymes in the papaya help tenderize the beef.
Heat grill and saute veggies till al dente. Roll veggies in flank steak and season with salt and pepper. Skewer rolls with picks and grill till done.
