Richard’s Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Pie
A recipe shared with me from a co-worker who used to be a chef on board a navy vessel. I love his stories of how he enjoys cooking and baking for his nephews. This Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Pie is one of their favorite dessert that he makes for them. Simple and easy, no cooking required.
9-inch graham cracker crust
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. creamy peanut butter
1 c. Confectioner’s sugar, sifted
1 tsp. vanilla extract
8 oz. Cool Whip, whipped topping, thawed
Garnish: whipped topping, chocolate syrup, chopped peanuts, chocolate shavings or powder (optional)
In a mixing bowl; beat together cream cheese and peanut butter. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into pie shell; freeze overnight. Garnish as desired. Serves 8.
