White Chocolate Dipped Banana Spring Rolls
This White Chocolate Dipped Banana Spring Rolls is a nice twist to the basic dessert spring roll perfect for parties!!
- 4 bananas cut into 32 pieces (halved then lengthwise)
- brown sugar
- 1 package springroll wrappers
- 1 cup crushed pretzels
- 1 cup white chocolate morsels
- bottled caramel
- oil for frying
Heat oil to 350 degres. Cut bananas into 32 pieces, each about 4" long. Place a piece of banana in each wonton wrapper and sprinkle cinnamon and 1 teaspoon of brown sugar before sealing each piece.
Deep fry springrolls until they are golden, crisp. Allow to cool for a few minutes. When all springrolls are cooked, pour white chocolate morsels/chips in a glass container and heat for 15-30 seconds at a time. Take out of microwave, stir and cook for 10 seconds at a time until chocolate is melted. Caution!! the white chocolate will melt and burn quickly so cook in very short increments. Finish off springrolls by dipping one end in white chocolate, and then rolling in crushed pretzels. Drizzle with hot caramel if desired.
