Chinese Minute Chicken
Minute chicken got its name because it literally well...kind of take just a minute to flash cook this simple Chinese dish.
Minute Chicken Recipe
3 ½ lb. chicken, cut into bite sized pieces
¼ c. flour
3 TB vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, crushed
½ c. oyster sauce
½ tsp. sugar
¼ tsp. white pepper
Garnish: cilantro, green onions
To make this minute chicken dish, In a mixing bowl; toss chicken pieces with flour. Let chicken stand for 10-15 minutes. In a large skillet or wok; brown chicken in oil. Stir fry chicken until golden brown on all sides. Add garlic to the chicken and stir fry for 1 minute. Add oyster sauce, sugar and pepper to the chicken and cook 10 minutes. Garnish chicken as desired. Serves 4-6.
