Grilled Marinated Octopus
Grilled octopus Portuguese style marinated in vinegar and garlic.
- 4-6 baby octopus or large octopus divided
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 8 cloves garlic
- 1 bay leaf crushed
- 1 tablespoon hawaiian salt
- juice from 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup olive oil
Order Finishing Salt Collection - The Alaea Salt with its earthy flavor is perfect for pork dishes and grilled vegetables. The Black Lava Salt is slightly smoky and goes great with fish (especially Salmon). Fleur de Sel is very versatile and can be used to season meats, sprinkled on salads and is amazing on desserts (cakes, chocolates, truffles).
Mix ingredients and marinate octopus overnight. Cook on grill for 4-5 minutes on each side. Garnish with white or black Hawaiian finishing salts and lemon wedges.
