  • 16 cherrystone clams
  • 16 Large shrimp
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1-2 tablespoons white miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon Aloha shoyu
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 lb linguine

Cooking Process:

Clean and devein shrimp.  Boil water in large pot.  Cook linguine and strain when cooked.  Heat oil and butter in large skillet.  Add clams and cook for 2 minutes, then add shrimp and cook for another 3 minutes.   As clams open up, add chopped tomato, white wine, soy sauce and miso.  Add 1 tablespoon of miso first and if you prefer a stronger taste, add more miso.  Salt and pepper to taste.
