Sis’ Ono Grilled Pork Ribs
My sister’s variation of a cookout favorite.
2 slabs pork ribs, trim to desired size
Water as needed
1 c. Aloha shoyu
1 c. catsup
1 c. sugar
6 cloves garlic, crushed
In a large saucepot over medium heat; cover ribs with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 1-1-1/2 hours. Drain; reserve stock for future use. In a shallow dish, combine soy sauce, catsup, sugar and garlic. Marinate ribs 2 hours or overnight.Charcoal grill until cooked through. Serves 6-8.
