Garlic Chilie Shrimp
Shrimp Truck locations have become a popular stop for locals and visitors alike. We are very fortunate to have access to locally farmed shrimp on Oahu. Feel free to enjoy this recipe as a pupu or main dish over pasta or rice.
½ lb. large shrimp, shells on
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. freshly cracked black pepper
¼ tsp. paprika
10 cloves garlic, minced
2 small dried red chilies, chopped
½ c. olive oil
Season shrimp with salt, pepper and paprika.In a skillet or wok over medium high heat; warm oil. Add garlic and sauté until slightly golden. Add shrimp and chilies. Lower heat and cook until shrimp are just pink and cooked through. Serve immediately over hot steamed rice. Serves 3-4.
