  • 3 lbs. short ribs, thinly sliced
  • Marinade:
  • 1 TB garlic, grated
  • 1 TB onion, grated
  • 1 TB pear, grated
  • 1 TB ginger, grated
  • 2/3 c. Aloha shoyu
  • 1 c. water
  • ½ c. sugar
  • 1 TB rice wine
  • 1 TB sesame seed oil
  • 1 TB sesame seeds, toasted, crushed
  • 1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

Cooking Process:

In a shallow dish; combine marinade ingredients. Marinate ribs at least 2 hours, or overnight. Grill ribs on both sides until cooked through. Serves 3-4.
