  • 3 lbs. beef short ribs, 2-inch pieces
  • Seasoning:
  • ½ c. all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. garlic salt
  • ½ tsp. onion salt
  • ½ tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • Sauce:
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 medium carrot, peeled, chopped
  • ¾ c. water
  • ¾ c. catsup
  • ½ c. brown sugar
  • ¼ c. Aloha shoyu
  • 2 TB apple cider vinegar
  • 2 TB Worcestershire sauce

Cooking Process:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a shallow dish; combine seasoning ingredients. Roll ribs in mix. Transfer into a baking pan. In a mixing bowl; combine sauce ingredients. Pour over ribs. Cover pan with aluminum foil; bake 2 ½ -3 hours until ribs are tender. Serves 3-4.
