Linguini With Clam Sauce
Linguine with white clam sauce. I used to go to Bella Italia at the Ala Moana shopping center.. they made the best linguine with clams!!
- 8 oz. linguini, cooked according to directions, drained
- 2 (7 ½ oz.) cans chopped clams, with liquid
- 2 TB olive oil
- 2 TB butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 c. white wine
- Garlic salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 3 TB Italian parsley, chopped
Drain clams; reserving ¾ cup of liquid. In a skillet over medium heat; warm oil and butter. Saute garlic 2 minutes. Add wine and clam liquid and reduce by half. Add clams, salt, pepper and bring to a boil. Remove from heat; toss in pasta and parsley. Serves 2-3.
