Super Easy Pumpkin Glazed Doughnuts
Pumpkin glazed doughnuts, a perfect treat for the holidays, especially Thanksgiving. This recipe is super easy and great to make with kids.
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 4 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tablespoon canned pumpkin
- 3 to 4 tablespoons half-and-half
- 1 can store-bought flaky layer style biscuit dough
- Oil for frying
Heat oil over medium heat to 350°F. In large bowl, mix powdered sugar, pumpkin pie spice, pumpkin and half-and-half with whisk until smooth, Set aside.
Remove biscuit dough from packaging and cut holes in dough using a cookie cutter. Save the doughnut holes for cooking as well. Place a few biscuits in hot oil. Cook until golden brown on each side. Remove doughnuts from oil and dip immediately into pumpkin glaze. Place doughnuts on cooling rack; cool 3 to 5 minutes or until glaze is set.
