We used to buy the local clam dip and I always wondered how to make it?! Here is a simple recipe for a childhood favorite dip!
1- 8 oz. can minced clams
1 clove garlic, minced
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash cracked pepper
Drain clams, reserving all liquid.
Combine garlic, clams, cream cheese, salt, pepper & Worcestershire sauce.
Add clam juice to desired taste. Check for saltiness and texture.
Fresh vegetable crudite, potato chips or buttery crackers!
