Short Ribs Delight
Awesome recipe for the huge Beef short ribs you get at the store! Also works well with "thin" short ribs for the hibachi!
3 lbs Beef Short Ribs, thick cut
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 Tbsp. Aloha shoyu
1- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Heat non-stick pan on high until almost smoking.
Salt and pepper short ribs and sear on all sides 1 minute each.
Place in roasting pan.
Mix all other ingredients and pour over meat.
Cover with foil and bake for 2 hours.
Substitute thin cut short ribs and marinade with all the ingredients overnight. Then hibachi like Kal-bi! Both ways are awesome!
