Hamburger Tater-Tot Casserole

Childhood recipe we used to gobble up! We didn't have it too often because the recipe is not the healthiest! But it's soooo 'ono!  Feel free to change this recipe up and put some of your favorite ingredients.

US Metric

1 lb. ground beef

2 Tbsp. dry onion soup mix

2 eggs

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 box frozen potato tater tots

1 cup frozen peas (optional)

1 cup cheddar cheese (optional)

2 slices bread

1 round onion, chopped

1/3 cup milk

Dash of salt and pepper


Cooking Process:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine hamburger, eggs, break, milk, onion, salt & pepper. Mix very well.

Lightly press mixture evenly on bottom of 9" x 13" pan.

Combine both cans of soup with the onion soup mix.

Pour over meat.

Layer the top of the casserole with the tater tots.

Bake for 40-45 minutes.

how to serve:

With rice, or as is!
