  • 1 can Spam sliced into little cubes
  • 4-5 cups day-old rice
  • 3 eggs scrambled
  • 3/4 cup frozen peas
  • 3 Tablespoons sesame oil
  • Aloha Aloha shoyu soy sauce to taste
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1 packet dashi or saimin soup base

Cooking Process:

Cut spam into little cubes.  Heat large frying pan or wok and fry spam until golden brown.  Remove spam from wok.  Add oil and allow to get smoking hot.  Break rice up into hot oil and toss until rice starts to heat up.  Splash a little bit of water into wok to create steam.  Add frozen peas.  Season with shoyu, dashi packet and salt and pepper.  Move rice to side of wok and scramble 3 eggs in wok.  Once eggs are at the soft scrambled stage, start tossing rice slowly adding spam back to wok.  Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.....and there you go... Spam fried rice!
