Savory Kahuku Style Shrimp - Another spin of my version of Kahuku North Shore shrimp with a savory Asian twist.  Buttery, Garlic, with the savory addition of shoyu and a hint of oyster sauce.

  • 1 lb Large or Jumbo shrimp
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Aloha shoyu
  • 8 cloves garlic, chopped
  • pinch hawaiian salt
  • cayenne pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
  • sprinkle of dried parsley for garnish

Cooking Process:

Clean and devein shrimp and pat dry with paper towel.  Melt butter in pan over med high heat add shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes.  Add garlic,fish sauce,shoyu,oyster sauce and spices and cook for another 3 minutes.  Serve with hot rice!
