  • 1 lb. 90% lean organic beef
  • 1 onion, chopped fine
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 5 fresh roma tomatoes, diced
  • 6 sprigs fresh basil chopped
  • 4 cups marinara sauce (low fat, low sugar)
  • 3 packages shirataki tofu pasta (any variety)
  • 3 cups boiling water (to rinse pasta)

Cooking Process:

In skillet, sautee onions with a tablespoon of olive oil.  When onions become translucent, add ground beef. Cook for about 10 minutes stirring on occassion.  Add fresh tomatoes and minced garlic and cook for 5 minutes.  Add marinara sauce and chopped basil.

Rinse Shirataki pasta in colander with cool water, then 3 cups of boiling water.  Remove excess water and add to sauce.

how to serve:

Top with fresh cut tomatoes and fresh basil and a little sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
