Mustard-Soy Marinated Chicken Recipe
This dish proves that shoyu (soy-sauce) goes well with any other condiments and even enhances other flavors. Mix all ingredients. Let them sit. Then grill or cook in pan. Simple and ono.
2 lbs of boneless chicken thighs (about 4 big thighs)
3 Tablespoon grainy mustard (such as Dijon)
2 Tablespoon olive oil
2 Tablespoon sake or white wine
1 Tablespoon Aloha shoyu
1 Tablespoon suger
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Mix all the ingredients in a bag and rub them using your hands. Let sit at least one hour or overnight. Heat a frying pan and saute the chicken - skin parts first, in a medium. When browned, saute the other side in a medium-low heat.
Serve with rice, or as sandwich with crusty bread.
