  • 2 lbs crushed pineapple
  • pinch salt
  • 3 cups + 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • pinch of cinnamon

Cooking Process:

Crush pineapple or use a grater.  Add sugar and spices and cook over slow heat until very little liquid remains and forms a thick consistency.
