

Local Style Baked Pumpkin w/Prosciutto
Pumpkin, proscuitto made local-style... This is a very easy dish to prepare and is incredibly savory and tasty....perfect as an appetizer or side dish. You get sweet, savory, salty, buttery all in one!

Prep Time: 10 | Cook Time: 20-30 | Ready In: 30-40
- 1 small pumpkin sliced thin
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons Aloha shoyu
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- salt and fresh cracked pepper
- drizzle olive oil
- 1/4 lb. proscuitto thinly sliced
Cooking Process:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Melt butter, oyster sauce and shoyu in a glass bowl in microwave. Cut pumpkin into thin slices. Layer pumpkin slices on a parchment paper-lined sheet. Drizzle with butter mixture. Sprinkle lightly with brown sugar, salt and cracked pepper. Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
Bake in oven for 20 minutes, then top with proscuitto and cook another 10 minutes or until sugar is carmelized and pumpkin slices are fork-tender.
