Ingredients: Print   Add to cart
US Metric
  • 4 c. eggs
  • 1 ½ c. sugar
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 TB vegetable oil
  • 1 TB lemon extract
  • 4 c. all purpose flour
  • 1 TB baking powder
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. lemon zest
  • Vegetable oil as needed for frying

Cooking Process:

In a wok or deep fat fryer; warm oil. In a mixing bowl; combine all ingredients well. Drop by heaping teaspoonful into oil and deep fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Makes approximately 3 dozen
