  • Water as needed
  • 24 small shrimp, peeled, deveined
  • 6 c. favorite dashi, chicken or pork broth
  • 2 large won bok leaves, 1 1/2 inch pieces
  • 3 stalks green onion, white parts, chopped

Filling:

  • 1/2 lb. finely ground pork
  • 3 stalks green onion, green parts, minced
  • 2 TB water chestnuts, minced
  • 1 medium egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. sake
  • 1 tsp. Aloha shoyu
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. sesame seed oil
  • 1/4 tsp. white pepper
