A quick and easy dish. Tender and juicy beef with lots of crisp tender vegetables. Feel free to include or replace with your favorite vegetables.

US Metric

1 lb. beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 TB vegetable oil, as needed
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, seeded, thinly sliced
1 red bell pepper, seeded, thinly sliced
1 egg white
1 TB Aloha shoyu
1 TB Shaoxing wine
½ tsp. white pepper
¼ tsp. Chinese 5 spice
¼ c. water
2 TB oyster sauce
1 ½ TB Shaoxing wine
1 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. sesame seed oil

Cooking Process:

In a mixing bowl; combine marinade ingredients. Marinate beef 20 minutes. In a mixing bowl; combine sauce ingredients. Set aside. In a large skillet or wok; heat 1 ½ TB of oil. Stir fry beef with garlic 4-5 minutes. Remove and set aside. Into skillet or wok; stir fry onions and peppers in remaining oil as needed. Stir fry until vegetables are crisp tender, about 2 minutes. Return meat to skillet with sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil; stirring until sauce thickens.

Serve immediately. Serves 4.
