A dipping sauce for Tonkatsu, pork or chicken.
1 c. catsup ½ c. Worchershire sauce 1/2 c. sake 2 TB ginger, grated 2 cloves garlic, grated 1/4 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. mirin
In a saucepan over medium heat; combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil; stirring occasionally. Reduce heat. Allow to simmer15-20 minutes. Keep refrigerated.
Make 2 ½ cups.
