Sour Cream Pound Cake

1 c. butter

3 c. sugar

6 large eggs

1 c. sour cream

1 tsp. vanilla extract

3 c. all purpose flour

½ tsp. baking soda

½ tsp. salt


Cooking Process:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously grease 2 loaf pans. On parchment paper; sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside. In a mixing bowl; cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in sour cream and vanilla extract. Add flour mixture, beating well. Spoon batter into prepared  pans. Bake 40-50 minutes; until cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Makes 2 loaves.
