  • Oil, for deep frying
  • 1 package firm tofu, cut into cubes
  • Cornflour, for dredging
  • Tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 oz tomato, diced
  • Cucumber, sliced
  • Carrots, shredded
  • Lettuce

Poke Sauce:

  • 1 Cup Aloha shoyu soy sauce
  • 8 tbsps sesame oil
  • Sugar (use according to your taste, start with 1/2 cup and work your way up)

Cooking Process:

Preheat oil in pot or deep-fryer to 375°F

Dredge cubed tofu in cornflour and deep fry in preheated oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels until ready to use. Toss fried tofu and vegetables in a mixing bowl with the poke sauce.

Poke sauce:

Combine ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk until sugar has dissolved.
