3 lb. chicken thighs


1 c. water

2/3 c. Aloha shoyu

½ c. sugar

2 TB Asian pear, grated

1 TB rice wine

1 TB sesame seed oil

1 TB garlic, grated

1 TB onion, grated

1 TB ginger, peeled, grated

1 TB sesame seeds, toasted, crushed

¼ tsp. Korean ground red chili pepper

Cooking Process:

Place chicken in a shallow dish. Top with marinade ingredients. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours or overnight. Broil or grill on both sides until cooked through. Serves 4-6.
