Healthier Shirataki Pasta with Meat Sauce - Made with extra lean organic beef, shirataki tofu pasta which has a little bit of protein, and no carbs.

Prep Time: 5 | Cook Time: 15 | Ready In: 20
- 1 lb. 90% lean organic beef
- 1 onion, chopped fine
- 2 cloves fresh garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 5 fresh roma tomatoes, diced
- 6 sprigs fresh basil chopped
- 4 cups marinara sauce (low fat, low sugar)
- 3 packages shirataki tofu pasta (any variety)
- 3 cups boiling water (to rinse pasta)
Cooking Process:
In skillet, sautee onions with a tablespoon of olive oil. When onions become translucent, add ground beef. Cook for about 10 minutes stirring on occassion. Add fresh tomatoes and minced garlic and cook for 5 minutes. Add marinara sauce and chopped basil.
Rinse Shirataki pasta in colander with cool water, then 3 cups of boiling water. Remove excess water and add to sauce.
how to serve:
Top with fresh cut tomatoes and fresh basil and a little sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
