  • 1 block butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1- 12 oz. can Tsubushian (sweet red bean paste)

Cooking Process:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Sift flour and baking soda.Add eggs, sugar, butter, evaporated milk and vanilla. Mix well to make dough.Shape dough into medium circles and fill middle with tsubushian, forming a dome. Pinch dough under the tsubushian and brush top with eggwash.Bake 15 minutes on greased cookie sheet.
