US Metric
  • Prune Mui
  • 2 packages  pitted pkg  mango, dried 
  • 1/2 lb  lemon peel, dried 
  • 1/4 lb  seedless li hing mui, (chinese preserved dried
  • ½ lb light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Hawaiian salt
  • 2 tablespoons whiskey
  • ½ teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
  • 5 cloves
  • ¾ cups fresh lemon juice


  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup prune mui


Cooking Process:

Prune Mui

Mix all ingredients and store in airtight container



Mix ingredients and keep in refrigerator until ready to serve.  Serve with salad greens or whole pieces of romaine lettuce.
