If you google the name Amy Hill her resume is as impressive as it is extensive. I first fell in love with her when she stole the show in the movie Next Friday with Ice Cube. You might also recognize her from 50 First dates or Crazy Ex Girlfriend. This multi-talented actress and comedian is currently playing the part of Kumu on the new CBS hit series, Magnum PI. 


We were very excited to have her on as our first guest of the season as she shares some of her favorite family dishes from Japan made with her own unique flare.

Ingredients: Print   Add to cart
US Metric

12 Wings 
1 cup white wine (any kind)
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp salt (to taste)
Pepper to taste
1/4 cup cornstarch 
Oil for deep frying 

Cooking Process:

Marinate wings in wine, garlic powder, and salt for at least 2 hours.  In the marinade, add cornstarch until liquid is creamy but not too thick.

Heat oil in deep pan on stove. Test for readiness before frying. Add battered chicken to oil. Turn chicken until browned. Removed fried chicken to paper lined plate. Serve immediately. Garnish with furikake or green onions for color.
