Rice Cooker Steamed Miso Salmon

  • 3 lbs. salmon filets
  • ¼ c. white miso
  • 2 stalks green onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. fresh ginger, grated
  • ¼ c. sesame seed oil
  • ¼ c. Aloha shoyu
  • Garnish: 2 stalks chopped green onion

Cooking Process:

In a mixing bowl; combine miso, green onion and ginger. Place fish on heatproof plate and spread miso mixture over fish. Place in steamer in rice cooker; steam 20 minutes until cooked through. In a saucepan, bring soy sauce and oil to a boil.

how to serve:

Place salmon onto serving platter; drizzle with soy sauce mixture. Garnish with green onion. Serves 6.
